Oh no! We're sorry that your post has failed to be published!
โ
It's possible that the type of image or file you are using isn't currently supported by Meta's API (pssst... that's tech-talk for the mechanics of auto-posting) or you might be using an Instagram Personal Account.
If the post that failed was for Instagram, here's what you can check before trying again:
Auto Post is only available for Instagram Business Accounts, so it is important that you double-check your account type, and also make sure that your Instagram is linked to a Facebook Business Page
Auto Post for Free Forever users is only available for single images, so to auto-post a Carousel, a Story, or a Reel, you need to be a Plann Plus user
To Auto Post your Instagram content, make sure that the 'Auto Post to Instagram' button is toggled on before clicking on 'Schedule Post'
If you're using the 'Post Now' feature to Auto Post your content, you must wait 3 minutes between publishing for a single image and 5 minutes or more between publishing for a carousel post, as well as avoid making more than 3 attempts when a post fails to be published.
Multiple attempts to schedule failed posts can trigger a spam detection on through Meta.
Here is a list of the types of content and files that are eligible for auto-posting:
Individual still images
Individual videos in .mov or .mp4 format
The types of content that are not eligible for Auto-Posting are:
Instagram Stories for Creator or Personal accounts
Videos that are not under the required formats
Unfortunately, the content above is ineligible for Auto-Posting due to Meta's API limitations. You can still post this content using Plann, but you will need to manually post this yourself using our Notify Me feature.
If the post that failed was for a different social platform or if even after checking all the above you are still experiencing errors, please reach out to our support team, sharing a screenshot of the post that has failed, so we can investigate further and better assist you.
