What to do if your social account is already connected to another Plann workspace?

Expecting to see your work but instead receiving the 'This account is already connected to Plann' pop-up?

It's happening because each social account can only be connected to one Workspace.

Here are the likely reasons why this pop-up is appearing & how to overcome it:

  1. Your page is connected to an alternate email address of yours:

    When you first created an account with Plann you may have used an alternate email address. Your social account can be connected to the Workspace with that email address and you can access it to continue planning from there or you can disconnect your social account so it is available to be connected to your new workspace.

  2. A colleague has already connected your page to their workspace:

For teams that have multiple people connected to the same social accounts, it's common for someone else on the team to have the page already connected to their workspace.

So, you have two options:

Here's a handy GIF we prepared to help you disconnect a social account and reconnect it to a new workspace:

  1. Log in to the account that has your social page connected.

  2. Go to your settings page and click on "Your Brands".

  3. Hover over the account you want to connect to a different workspace and click to "Disconnect".

  4. Log back into the correct account you want to use.

  5. Click on your profile image at the top right of the screen and click on the + button to connect your social page.
