Reels have a huge importance on your performance and is one of the best ways for you to be creative and go over the top when interacting with your audience!
Plann will help you organize yourself and avoid any delays or last minute stress by allowing you to plan ahead, schedule your Reels and set the auto post for your preferred date and time.
Here's how to do it on your mobile app:
Click the + button and upload your vertical Reel video (up to 15 minutes)
When you upload a single vertical video, we’ll ask if you’re uploading a Reel... Select "Instagram Reel"
Upload your Reels Cover Image
Tag other Instagram users in your reels as long as they are set as public accounts (available for iOS only as of now)
Rename the audio title (original_audio) in your Reels (available for iOS only as of now)
Schedule your Reel + we will auto post it for you at the time of your choosing!
Here's how to do it on your desktop:
Upload your Reels video (vertical videos up to 15 minutes in length) to your Instagram workspace
When you upload a single vertical video, we’ll ask if you’re uploading a Reel
Select Instagram Reel
Upload your Reels Cover Image
Tag other Instagram users in your reels as long as they are set as public accounts
Rename the audio title (original_audio) in your Reels
Schedule your Reel + we will auto post it for you at the time of your choosing!

If you'd like to auto-post Instagram Reels, you will need to use the following specifications:
5 seconds to 15 minutes max
9:16 aspect ratio*
No more than 100MB
*For the aspect ratio we recommend 9:16 to avoid cropping or blank space. If the aspect ratio of the original image is not 9:16, we crop the image and use the middle most 9:16 rectangle as the cover photo for the reel. If you share a reel to your feed, we crop the image and use the middle most 1:1 square as the cover photo for your feed post.
Videos with cover images are now supported for both manual and Auto Posting!
If you choose to have a cover image, please make sure to select the cover image and the video - if only the cover is selected, the publishing won't be completed.
If you choose to post manually:
Your Reels planning space perfectly syncs with your Plann app. After scheduling, if the auto post option is off, when it’s time to post, we’ll send a push notification to your mobile device. To manually schedule and post an Instagram Reel, follow these steps:
Simply tap the Instagram icon and your Reel will be saved to the top of your camera roll.
Open Instagram and choose to upload your video
Paste the caption or hashtags you’ve saved within your Plann app (this is automatically saved to your clipboard).
Post to Instagram! YAY
