Connecting accounts with the “New Facebook Pages Experience” can be a challenge. They are constantly making new updates to the Facebook Pages experience that can sometimes effect connecting your social accounts to platforms like Plann.

So, to help you out, we’ve put together a few screenshots to help guide you through the process. You may be looking at this article and see a lot of steps, but don't fret! It's a simple process and will only take 3-5 minutes.

There are two stages to this process to ensure you successfully connect (or reconnect) your Facebook Business Page to your Plann workspace:

  1. Confirm you are a “Facebook User” of the Facebook Page (If you are not, an existing Admin will need to add you)

  2. Updating your Facebook Business Integrations settings

Stage one

  1. On the Facebook Page, select Manage Page and click to “Professional dashboard”

  2. Go to Page Access

  3. Check to see if you are listed as a Facebook User

  4. If you were already Admin in the classic experience, you should be shown here. If not, an existing admin can add you by clicking the “Add new” button

Stage two

  1. Update your Facebook Business Integrations settings for Plann. Here's the link to update these settings.

    1. Please note: you must be logged into the Facebook profile you authorized access to in your Plann workspace.

      1. To do this, follow these instructions**:

      2. In Facebook on right side of page, select your profile photo

      3. Select Settings

      4. Select Security and login

      5. Select Business Integrations

  2. Next to 'Plann', click “View and edit

  3. Scroll down and ensure you have selected every linked Instagram and Facebook page.

    1. This will give you the ability to add any linked account in Plann.

    2. Tick every box you can see so that nothing is missed

      1. (Here's a pro tip: you can click the blue - icon for each section will select everything faster than ticking each individual box).

  4. After this is completed, you can then add or re-authorize the Facebook page and Instagram account inside your Plann workspace.

The screenshots below can provide a visual aid to the steps above. They are in sequential order according to the steps outlined above.
