Tagging Functionality:

  1. Mentioning Team Members: You can easily mention team members in team chat posts by using the "@" symbol followed by the team member's name.

  2. Drop-down List: Upon typing "@," you will encounter a drop-down list of your team members, providing a quick and efficient way to select the desired recipient.

  3. Notifications for Tagged Members: Tagged team members receive notifications in their notifications center, informing them that they have been tagged in a chat post.

  4. Inclusive Tagging: Multiple team members, including View Only users, can be tagged in a single post, facilitating inclusive communication and collaboration.

  5. Notification Options: Users receive notifications via email and push notifications. Additionally, you have the flexibility to opt out of specific notifications and customize your preferences from the settings page.

Notifications Centre:

  1. Centralized Hub: The Notifications Centre serves as a centralized hub for all user notifications, focusing primarily on post approvals and tags.

  2. Accessibility: Accessible from all Plann pages through the bell icon, ensuring you can easily stay informed about important updates.

  3. Notification Types: You receive notifications when a post is approved or unapproved, as well as when you've been tagged in a conversation.

  4. Read/Unread Functionality: You can mark notifications as read or unread, allowing you to manage notifications effectively and revisit important messages later.

Customizable Notifications/Notification Settings:

  1. Default Notifications: By default, users receive email and push notifications for post approvals and tags.

  2. Customization Options: Through the settings page (brand section), you can customize your notification preferences based on your specific needs and preferences.

  3. Brand-specific Customization: Notifications are customizable per brand, allowing the workspace owner to set different preferences for different brands the team members are associated with.

  4. Notification Types and Channels: Each user can choose the types of notifications they want to receive (e.g., tags, approvals) and select their preferred channels (email, push). This flexibility ensures that users receive relevant updates in the most convenient way for them, optimizing their communication experience.
