Here's how it works:
Begin by uploading an image to either Facebook or LinkedIn as you normally would.
After selecting your image, look for the "ALT" option on the caption toolbar.
Click the "ALT" option to open a text box.
In the text box, type in the ALT text you want to associate with your image.
Character Limits:
Facebook: 125 characters
LinkedIn: 4028 characters
Once you’ve entered your ALT text, review your post and publish it as usual.
Important Notes:
ALT Text for Images Only:
ALT text can only be added to images. Videos are not supported at this time.
Platform Availability:
This feature is currently available only on Facebook and LinkedIn.
