With Plann, you can now add ALT text to your images when posting on Facebook and LinkedIn!

ALT text makes your content accessible to users with visual impairments who rely on screen readers, boosts SEO by helping search engines better understand your images, and improves user engagement by making posts more informative.

It also enhances content indexing on social media platforms, leading to better visibility. This feature is precious if you are focused on inclusivity and optimizing your content’s search performance!

Here's how it works:

  1. Begin by uploading an image to either Facebook or LinkedIn as you normally would.

  2. After selecting your image, look for the "ALT" option on the caption toolbar.

  3. Click the "ALT" option to open a text box.

  4. In the text box, type in the ALT text you want to associate with your image.

    • Character Limits:

      • Facebook: 125 characters

      • LinkedIn: 4028 characters

  5. Once you’ve entered your ALT text, review your post and publish it as usual.
