How To: Disconnect a social account and reconnect it to a new Workspace

Expecting to see your work but instead receiving the 'Facebook is already connected to Plann' pop-up?

It's happening because each Facebook Business page can only be connected to one Workspace.

Here are the likely reasons why this pop-up is appearing & how to overcome it:

  1. Your Facebook page is connected to an alternate email address of yours

    1. When you first created an account with Plann you may have used an alternate email address. Your Facebook business page is connected to the Workspace with that email address.

  2. A colleague has already connected the Facebook Business page to their workspace

    1. For teams who have multiple people connected to one Facebook Business page, it's common that someone else on the team has the Facebook Business page connected to their workspace.

No worries, we've got you covered! Here’s what you’ll need to do if your Facebook page is connected to the alternate email address:

Plann App

  1. Log in to Plann using the email address listed in the pop-up (this is the Plann account currently associated with the social platform page).

  2. Click the username at the top of the screen below the Plann logo.

  3. From there, click the "Disconnect" button to the right of the name of the page you would like to reconnect elsewhere.

  4. Then, simply log out of that Plann workspace.

Plann Desktop

  1. Log in to Plann using the email address listed in the pop-up (this is the Plann account currently associated with the social platform page).

  2. Click your Profile icon on the top right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Then, click “Settings” and select "Your Brands".

  4. Next, hover over to the account you would like to reconnect elsewhere and click “Disconnect”.

  5. Then, click your Profile Icon again, and select "Sign Out".

If your Facebook account is connected to another user's account, you have a copule of options! You can either Ask the Workspace owner to invite you to the workspace (psst...here's how Add/remove a team member to a Workspace), or, if the Workspace owner is incorrect/you no longer have access to the account, please contact us.
