TikTok has become an integral part of modern digital culture, providing a unique outlet for self-expression and entertainment. With its vast user base and engaging features, TikTok allows you to discover and be discovered, creating opportunities for networking and showcasing your skills.

And guess what? Yes! With Plann you can schedule your videos to be auto-posted to TikTok, by connecting private or public profiles!

Here's a video tutorial on how to schedule your TikTok content to be auto-posted:

While scheduling your TikTok video, there are a few details that you can set up, to make sure that everything is according to your goals and prepared for your audience to enjoy your amazing content!

Here's what you'll be able to personalize and everything you need to know before scheduling your first video:

  • Choose from different privacy settings for your videos

    • Public accounts: Public to Everyone, Mutual Followers Only, Self Only

    • Private accounts: Follower of Creator, Mutual Followers Only, Self Only

  • Choose whether you'd like to allow your viewers to Comment, Duet, and Stitch

  • The caption limit for auto post is 2200

  • TikTok is only available to Plann Plus users so all TikTok planning requires a paid Plann account

TikTok Carousels

  • You can select up to 35 images to build a TikTok carousel

  • With single-image/carousel posts, you can choose to auto-add music to your post so it’s published with a randomly chosen sound from TikTok

  • You can choose to change this sound later from the TikTok app, manually

Content Disclosure

  • If you choose 'Branded Content', the video cannot be listed as private/self only. The privacy setting must be public/friends.

  • Once you select a disclosure option, it can’t be changed, so deleting the video and posting it again would be required to fix the settings.

  • Turning on the content disclosure setting will not affect the distribution of your post.

After setting up your media and all the details above:

  1. Choose if you would like to 'Post Now' or at a 'Custom Time'

  2. Make sure to toggle on the 'Auto Post' button

  3. Click on 'Schedule Post'

It's that simple!

Psst: Before you go ahead and start scheduling, it is also important to have in mind the Video Requirements for auto posting, just to make sure that your TikTok video will be successfully published:

  • The only supported formats are mp4 and WebM

  • Video file size must be less than or equal to 1 GB

  • Resolution: at least 540p

  • Duration 3 seconds to 10 minutes

  • Different users have different maximum video-duration privileges. Some users are allowed up to 10 minutes but everyone is allowed up to 3 minutes
