In Plann you can set up your posts to be published as a Collab with another Instagram profile!

This feature allows you to team up with other Instagram users, share your posts on their profiles, and reach a wider audience. Whether you're an influencer, a brand, or just someone who loves to connect with others, Instagram Collaborations is sure to elevate your social media presence.

Adding collaborators to your Instagram posts is quick and easy. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started:

  1. Accessing the Feature: Head over to the Create page on Plann and look for the user tag icon on the caption toolbar. Click on it to start adding collaborators.

  2. Navigating to the Collab Tab: Once you've clicked on the user tag icon, navigate to the Collab tab. Here, you can type in the username of the Instagram account you want to collaborate with.

  3. Maximum of 3 Collaborators: Keep in mind that you can add a maximum of three collaborators to a single post. This ensures that your collaborations remain manageable and effective.

  4. Only Public Instagram Accounts: Collaborators must have public Instagram accounts to be added to your posts. This ensures that your collaborations reach the widest audience possible.

  5. Not Available for Stories: Currently, collaborators cannot be added to Instagram stories. However, you can still leverage collaborations for your feed posts, carousels, and reels.

  6. Visibility on Plann Grid: On the Plann grid, you'll only see collab posts that you've created. Posts you've been invited to collaborate on won't appear due to API limitations.

  7. Workaround for Visibility: If you want to see posts you've been invited to collaborate on, you can use our "Missing Content? Add Placeholder" feature. Simply access it from the three-dot menu on a post in the Plann grid.

  8. Tagging vs. Collaborations: It's important to note the difference between tagging and collaborations. Tagging adds a user's tag to a post, while collaborations involve sharing your post on other accounts for increased visibility.

  9. Exclusive Collaboration: If you've previously tagged a user as a regular tag and then try to tag them as a collaborator, the regular tag will be replaced, ensuring a seamless collaboration experience.

Creating Collab posts opens up endless possibilities for expanding your reach, engaging with new audiences, and forging meaningful connections within the Instagram community.

Whether you're a content creator looking to partner with like-minded individuals or a brand seeking to amplify your message, Instagram Collaborations with Plann provides the perfect platform to make it happen.

So what are you waiting for? Start collaborating today and watch your Instagram presence soar to new heights with Plann!

Psst: Plann allows you to add someone as a collaborator, however, Meta's API limitations block us from showing on our grid the posts that were created out of Plann and that had you invited as a collaborator. But we got you! You can add a placeholder on your Plann grid to make sure your content is replicating what you see on your Instagram account :D
